A Weybridge chartered accountants firm is celebrating after being shortlisted for one of the industry’s most prestigious awards for the second year running.

TWP Accounting is a finalist in the independent firm of the year (south-east and east England) category in the British Accountancy Awards 2012, organised by leading industry publication Accountancy Age.

To get to this stage of the competition, the firm had to provide details of its successes and innovative business practices over the past year.

The company will learn whether it has been successful at an awards ceremony at Old Billingsgate Market, London, on November 21.

Philip Munk, managing partner, said: “I am absolutely delighted that we have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award.

“Of course, this would not have been possible without the hard work and commitment of everyone here at TWP Accounting, so reaching this stage of the competition is a testament to their efforts.”

TWP was established more than 75 years ago and is the largest firm of chartered accountants and business advisers in Weybridge.
