A dancer is who has partied with JLS and had her makeup done by Kelly Rowland is heading to Hollywood to pursue her dream of dance stardom.

Nicole Bondzie, from Westway, Raynes Park, is off to Los Angeles in September after having signed with a talent agency.

At the age of just 20, she landed her first job touring with Kelly Rowland on her European 2008/9 tour after training at the London Studio Centre - one of London’s top dance schools.

Miss Bondzie, now 26, said: "You would start at 8.30 every morning and you would be there until 8 at night.

"Some people think it’s a big laugh but it is hard work and I have worked hard to be where I am now."

On touring with former Destiny's Child singer and X Factor judge Kelly Rowland, she said: "I remember being totally in shock when I was put on stage with Kelly Rowland on T4 on the beach.

"She was absolutely lovely and really took us on board.

"I was really fresh at the time and I really couldn’t believe what was happening.

"She would sew sequins on our outfits and one time she did my makeup.

"It was an amazing experience."

Miss Bondzie later toured with JLS on their Out of This World Tour in 2010 revealing she was told to "pretty down" so their female fans wouldn’t "hate them".

She said: "They said we need to make you as boyish as possible so I had corn rows in my hair.

"I did get a few bits of hate mail from fans who were like ‘stay away’".

On working with JLS she said: "We shared a tour bus which was really cool and became really close friends.

"We had nights out and got treated really well which is not always the case on some jobs."

She said: "There’s a much bigger scene out there and there’s more opportunity and bigger artists which will mean bigger tours.

On leaving her friends and family to jet off to America, she said: "I love it here and I’m grateful for the artists I have worked for but everything out there is on a bigger scale."

"It’s now or never. I m excited but it will be very scary but it’s what I have always wanted to do."
