The Elmbridge programme of healthy walks has had a sunny start to the new season.
To celebrate the fine weather, walk leaders have invited people to make the most of the longer days to get out and enjoy the countryside.
Their usual programme has been extended to include new afternoon walks.
Meet at Squires Garden Centre, in Woodstock Lane North, Long Ditton, on June 2 for a slow walk up One Tree Hill, from 2pm until 2.45pm.
Head to Garsons Farm in Esher for 2.30pm on June 6 for a walk around West End Common. On June 9 a walk around Mutton and Heron ponds in Bushy Park sets off at 2pm and on June 14, from 1.30pm, a slow walk around Whitely Village takes place.
Meet in Sanctuary car park to join in.
Another stroll takes place on June 20 – the longest day of the year – at 6.30pm, Sandy Lane car park in Oxshott.
