A man accused of racially abusing staff at a business in New Malden and another who skipped bail after being arrested on suspicion of stealing from a car in Kingston are on this month’s Most Wanted list.

Kingston police want to speak to five men they have either not been able to track down or who have turned their back on the courts and failed to show up in connection with offences.

First on the list is Kane Travers, 30, who is wanted in connection with an assault on April 28.

Kevin Raoult, 21, is wanted by police to answer charges of possessing illegal drugs. Drugs were found in New Malden on January 18 during a police raid. Mr Raoult failed to appear at court and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Paul Adam, 43, is wanted for alleged threatening behaviour on May 12 in Kingston.

Ricky David, 21, was arrested on suspicion of stealing from a motor vehicle on February 12 in Kingston but he did not return after he was bailed.

Lastly, Trevor Leroy Holmes (pictured below), 55, is wanted after he was accused of verbally and racially abusing staff at a business in New Malden. He failed to show up at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on December 22 last year.

Police said they had saved valuable time and money tracking down people by using Most Wanted.

Its success has since led the Metropolitan Police to start using the appeals in other parts of London.

So far an alleged gun-toting assailant and a man accused of threatening hospital staff have come forward to police after being featured in Most Wanted.

A man police wanted to speak to in connection with an attack on Kingston Mosque in November 2010 showed up at Kingston police station after seeing a photograph of himself on the front page of the Surrey Comet.

Former Kingston University professor Howard Fredrics, who fled to the US before he could face a retrial on a public order offence, made contact with police via Twitter after seeing the international edition of the Most Wanted.

- Kevin Raoult who was wanted by police for breaching a court order in relation to possession of cannabis, was later sentenced.
He was sentenced in Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on September 19 and was given an extended community order and a curfew for eight weeks.
