Now is your chance to meet the affable and knowledgeable Eric Knowles at a mini antiques roadshow at Epsom Playhouse.

Knowles is one of those rare individuals who is able to share his extensive knowledge of the world of antiques in a manner that is easily understood.

With over 20 years working on the BBC’s flagship programme Antiques Roadshow under his belt, he has become the friendly face of a business often shrouded in mystery.

In this Antique Antics evening, the lad from Lancashire aims to take the wraps off the antiques trade in which he has been immersed for over 30 years. The first part of the evening will be given over to what are quite often irreverent anecdotal reminiscences, ably supported by excellent images.

The second part of the evening will be devoted to the audience’s ‘treasures’ - 25 of which will have been selected by Knowles during the initial meeting and greeting session and welcome party.

The antiques ambassador is keen to assure all those bringing heirlooms that he for one will be drinking only Adam’s Ale until all are safely returned.
