Mohammad Siddique should be thoroughly ashamed of his protest against any one raising funds for our injured British servicemen/women (Charity Choice Furore, May 17).
The military is not exclusive, all races and religions are employed by all services. Should a young Muslim be injured would Mohammad Siddique expect him to be treated differently to a Christian comrade? Our servicemen and women sign on to serve our Queen and Country. Not only are they sent to war zones they are used to provide emergency cover, as for example during the fireman's strike. Help for Heroes is not a political charity it is a charity set up to help all injured servicemen/women and a charity that should be very much supported. Judith Donoghue
