A noisy neighbour from Putney has been fined after holding a series of boisterous late-night parties.

Natalie Taylor of Hayward Gardens, Ashburton Estate, has been warned if she carried on disturbing her neighbours late at night she could lose her council flat.

Magistrates heard Ms Taylor was served with a noise abatement notice in February 2010, after a number of noisy parties which subjected neighbours to loud music and shouting.

There was no improvement in her behaviours a over the following months further parties were regularly held into the early hours.

Last November another late night party was held and when a housing patroller arrived and asked Ms Taylor to turn her music off, she refused to answer the door and instead turned the volume up.

In court Ms Taylor was ordered to pay £85 in fines and court costs after she admitted breaching the Environmental Protection Act.

Wandsworth’s cabinet member for housing Cllr Paul Ellis said: "This is a very poor record of behaviour. Ms Taylor is sailing very close to the wind and if she doesn't stop causing disturbance to her neighbours she faces the very real risk of losing her council home."
