The long-awaited winners of our South London Guardian Child of the Year competition have been announced.
Dozens of children took part in our competition across Sutton, Croydon and Wimbledon in the first year of the competition which were then displayed online for the public to vote for their favourites.
In the 0-9 category, our winner was eight-week-old Rosalia McGrath, from Wallington; our 10-18 months category winner was Jack Busuttil, 14 months from Sutton; in the 19-36 month category our winner was Athena Tzitzi, 19 months, from Carshalton, and our final winner in the 3-5 year category was Morgan Hague, five, from Croydon.
Each child wins a 14x11inch framed portrait of the winning picture and a trophy engraved with their name.
The overall winner who becomes South London Guardian Child of the Year 2012 is Rosalia McGrath, who amassed an incredible 328 voters and will also win a 20x16inch portrait.
Congratulations to all our winners and thanks to all the other mums and dads who entered but didn't win.
