Guest speaker at Hersham Residents’ Association’s annual general meeting will be one of the stars of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.
Not the bride, or the groom, but the man who married the loved up pair – Reverend Jonathan Andrew of St Peter’s Church.
He will talk about the church’s involvement in the community and give a personal perspective on life in the parish, touching on a wide range of subjects from metal theft to the recent wedding aired on Channel Four.
The talk will help mark the church’s 125th anniversary.
Anyone with an interest in Hersham, local planning issues, and Elmbridge Council is encouraged to attend the meeting on May 10.
It starts at 7.30pm in St John’s Ambulance Hall in Faulkners Road, Hersham.
