A flood alert for the River Mole has been issued by the Environment Agency.
Flooding is possible for the river and its tributaries from areas including Cobham and Stoke D’Abernon this evening.
Heavy rain throughout today, the wettest day of the year so far, saw river levels rise and it was expected they would burst their banks later on this evening.
Rain was expected to continue overnight with possible showers tomorrow.
