A competition has been launched to find Surrey’s community healthcare heroes.
Surrey Community Health offers a huge range of services to the community, from helping brand new babies to caring for those at the end of their lives.
The organisation runs services such as sexual health, district nursing, children’s services, special care dentistry, prison health services, wheelchair services, rehabilitation, palliative care, physiotherapy, podiatry, respiratory care, health visiting and more.
Alison Edgington, chief executive of Surrey Community Health, said: “Do you know a doctor who has done her utmost or a healthcare assistant with a heart of gold?
“Have you been treated by a fantastic physio or has your child been championed by a children’s nurse? If so, we need to hear from you.”
The winning candidate will be presented with their award at the Surrey Community Health Staff recognition awards in June.
