An exhibition laying out plans for the future of the town centre will be displayed following an international investment conference.

Residents will get the chance to see the schemes in the pipeline for Croydon as the stand used at the MIPIM conference in Cannes last month is put on show.

Richard Plant, chairman of the Develop Croydon Forum, said: "We are grateful to Croydon BID for allowing us to use Croydon Visitor Centre to exhibit the town’s exciting regeneration schemes.

"Working with BID helps us to achieve our aim of promoting the development and regeneration of Croydon to a wider audience."

Projects such as Saffron Square development where Berkeley Homes is developing a mixed use scheme featuring an 45-storey tower, the pedestrian bridge which will link East Croydon Station with the Town Centre and Bernard Weatherill House, the new Croydon Council offices, are included.

The sites that have received planning permission, including the controversial Menta Tower, due to be UK’s tallest residential building, a 55-storey tower at One Lansdowne Road and the Ruskin Square plans will also be on show.

Opening at Croydon Visitor Centre on Monday April 30 the exhibition will be on show for three weeks except for Sundays.
