This newspaper is currently running a campaign to help find jobs for young people.

The 100 in 100 campaign was launched with the aim of encouraging businesses, large and small, to take on apprentices.

The campaign’s target is to place 100 apprentices in 100 days.

t’s not only young people who benefit from an apprenticeship. Research carried out by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), shows that more than 80 per cent of people are more likely to use a business if it offers apprenticeships to young people.

It also revealed that 65 per cent of consumers would use a register enabling them to choose a business that hires apprentices.

Why not join the hundreds of other companies who are proud to demonstrate that they employ apprentices and that these apprentices bring them many business benefits?

The National Apprenticeship Service’s (NAS) Roll of Honour showcases businesses that are committed to apprenticeships. It is a highly prominent site which is regularly looked at by the media and employers.

The Roll of Honour is a very public acknowledgement of your commitment to apprenticeships and providing training opportunities to your employees.

There are hundreds of businesses from across the country on the Roll of Honour already.

If you employ apprentices, you too could have your business logo and website link displayed on the website.

Simply email your business logo to the NAS at website@ apprenticeships.gov.uk.

To help customers know which companies offer apprenticeships, the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), is delighted to provide employers with the Apprenticeship Employer Certificate.

The certificate can be displayed in your reception area and also within your office for clients and business partners to see.

The certificate recognises businesses for their commitment and support to apprenticeships. All employers who have apprentices are entitled to a certificate.

If you have apprentices and would like a certificate, email dana.dzbubas@apprenticeships.gov.uk with details including company name, to be printed on the certificate along with full contact details.
