A company which runs nurseries and trains childcare providers has been awarded a London Excellence Award for management systems. The award was made in recognition of the Jancett Group and JACE Training and Assessment’s focus on strategic planning and self-assessment with a clear risk management strategy communicated across the structure.

The London Excellence Awards are designed to acknowledge organisations across the UK who continually strive to make improvements within their field. The rigorous assessment process provides feedback that will raise their achievements still further. The awards go only to organisations which can demonstrate the highest standards of excellence in everything from results, leadership and management systems to people development and corporate social responsibility.

The Jancett Group is built upon three interlinking areas. It has seen itself grow from strength to strength, opening its first day nursery in 1969. Today it comprises of Jancett Nurseries, Jancett Playsafe breakfast, afterschool and holiday clubs and JACE Training and Assessment Centres. JACE Training offers apprenticeships and works with local businesses across the South East to invest in their future workforce. It offers opportunities for young people in their community and, in addition, works with employers wanting to train their staff and individuals of all ages wishing to gain qualifications.

The Jancett Organisation is continually measuring itself against different quality kitemarks relevant to its industry as well as being inspected by Ofsted.
