For 30 years JACE Training has been offering apprenticeships and working with local businesses to invest in their future work force and offer opportunities for young people in their community.

JACE currently has more than 500 apprentices working towards their Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in a range of subject areas including everything from childcare, playwork, business and administration to customer service and information technology.

Here three apprentices with JACE talk about their experiences.

Sayma, aged 17 is a business and administration apprentice with JACE and has this to say about her experience: “I’ve been studying business administration for one year. My work placement has given me a lot of confidence working in a business environment. Throughout my course I have progressed well and am pleased with what I’ve learned.”

Hollie, also studying her business and administration course with JACE, explains she has gained knowledge and practical skills over the past year.

“I started off on level 1 and worked my way up to level 2. I’m now studying my Level 2 apprenticeship and my assessor and work placement colleagues are very supportive, helping me complete my course and find me my perfect job.”

JACE Administrator Bradley joined JACE as a customer service apprentice when he was 17 and now aged 26 believes work-based learning was the right route for him, enabling him to progress in a career he loves. “It didn’t feel like ‘finish training then start work’ or being thrown in at the deep end. It’s all flowed together and I’ve grown in my job role.” For more information about the apprenticeships and qualifications JACE offers, call 08452 417738 or visit: jace-training.co.uk
