Employee training could be the key difference why some businesses succeed while others fail.

According to national training provider, Intraining, in times of economic prosperity it is possible to remain in business even if your staff aren’t right at the top of their game.

But with tough economic challenges ahead, it says only businesses with good people – intelligent, motivated and well-trained – will remain viable.

Intraining is a national provider whose mission is to develop people through learning and achievement for the benefit of themselves, society and the economy.

It operates out of a network of 80 regional offices in the UK and has developed longstanding relationships with employers, funding bodies and training providers across the UK.

Intraining is the largest UK organisation with a Grade 1 Outstanding Ofsted accreditation and was showcased in an Ofsted report as one of 12 outstanding work-based learning providers across the UK which excel at providing apprenticeships, NVQs and other vocational qualifications for young people and adults.

Apprenticeships are a key part of Intraining’s work. It works with companies to promote a genuine employer-learner partnership to make certain that learners are always properly integrated into the business.

Michael Bradshaw, national sales manager with Intraining says: “Intraining’s National Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching Service (NAVMS) is a Government- funded online service where we can advertise your apprenticeship vacancies and find you the perfect candidate.

“When the right candidate has been selected, we can then work with your company to provide apprenticeship training, tailored to your specific needs.”

“NAVMS is a national initiative with a huge marketing campaign behind it, headed by Sir Alan Sugar. With NAVMS, recruitment and training is all done at no cost to clients.

“The only cost to the employer is the apprentice’s wages which, as Government guidelines state, must be a minimum of £95 per week.

“NAVMS is easy to use and free, allowing people the opportunity to find apprenticeship vacancies in more than 80 different sectors, including, business administration, retail, travel, customer service and sales.

“All Intraining programmes are delivered on site with the minimum of disruption to the working day. Every employee receives ‘hands-on’ coaching from their personal trainer, often with the back-up of innovative e-learning programmes, designed and facilitated by Intraining.”
