Police are hunting a man in Tadworth after he indecently exposed himself to two young girls in two separate attacks. The first incident happened when a 14-year-old girl was walking home from school at about 4.30pm on Friday June 24.

As she passed a silver sports car parked in Harendon, a man sitting inside exposed himself to her but did not say anything or make any attempt to grab or touch her.

The man was described as in his late 20s to early 30s, wearing a grey T-shirt and dark blue jeans.

Just 15 minutes later an 11-year-old girl walking along Tadorne Road, close to the junction with Harendon, was subjected to a similar outrage as she walked past the sports car.

She ran off to raise the alarm.

She described the man as having dark or tanned skin and wearing a light blue shirt.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Leigh Wall said: “These two incidents happened in close proximity to each other within 15 minutes and we believe the same man is responsible.

“Although neither victim were harmed or threatened in any way, this was a frightening and distressing experience for them both.

“I would like to reassure the local community that we are taking these matters very seriously and are appealing for the public’s help in catching whoever was responsible.

“If anyone recognises the description of the man or the vehicle I would urge them come forward and pass that information to police.”
