Arsenal Ladies will play Everton in the final of the FA Women’s Cup, sponsored by E.On after thumping Chelsea 4-0 in the semi-final at Staines Town FC.
Play was nip and tuck until Julie Fleeting put the Gunners in front after 34 minutes, but goals from Kim Little, two minutes later, and Faye White, gave them a 3-0 half-time lead.
Chelsea kept it respectable in the second half, but Jayne Ludlow wrapped things up in the 64th minute.
Staines have received a letter from the FA congratulating the club on their hosting of the event.
