Direct from the Edinburgh Festival and playing only at the Warehouse Theatre Dirty Fan Male is possibly the funniest and most risqu production this year.
Genuine letters sent to real Page Three girls are the subject of this outrageously original evening, sympathetic of the strange things lonely men will write to unknown, beautiful women. Having started life as a CD it quickly grew into a cult classic, now the show, which runs from Wednesday September 8, to Sunday, September 19, looks set to follow.
Duncan Wisbey performs and even sets to music some of the most bizarre, rude and funny thoughts you may ever hear, and Jonny Trunk relates the weird and wonderful way the letters were acquired.
Duncan Wisbey is well known at the Warehouse for his work on the Dick Barton series.
Not only did he give storming performances in the first three episodes, he also co-wrote parts four and five. He is also known for his regular appearances on Alistair McGowan's Big Impression. Tickets start at £12 there is a special price of £6.50 for all tickets on Thursdays. Call 020 8680 4060 for more details.
