The £12million Capital Business Centre due to open in the autumn has appointed a new manager.

Jane Allen will run the new centre which is still being constructed on the six-acre site just off Carlton Road.

She is a degree-qualified business support manager with experience in the taxation and accountancy sector.

Operations director David Clapham says that Mrs Allen is joining the centre as the first tenants are pre-booking offices and workshops.

"We are offering high quality, state-of-the-art managed workspace able to accommodate up to 85 businesses. There has already been considerable interest in the centre and we are very pleased that Jane is joining us in time to welcome our first tenants.

"All the units are available on flexible easy-in easy-out' monthly licences and options can be secured by businesses through a small deposit.

"When the Capital Business Centre opens later this year a range of business support services will be available including meeting rooms, reception services, photocopying, post and a telephone answering service."
