Saturday saw our clubs swap their hectic league programme for the glamour of the FA Cup.
It was a case of too little too late for Whyteleafe, currently fourth from bottom in the league as they crashed out at home to Southern League Eastern outfit Erith and Belvedere 4-2.
Croydon FC put up a good fight, but went the same way, losing 3-1 in the heat to fellow Ryman League side Hastings Town.
The other clubs that progressed to the first qualifying round were AFC Wimbledon, Dulwich Hamlet and Croydon Athletic.
AFC Wimbledon were comfortable winners at home to fellow league side Ashford Town 3-0 in their cup debut and the prize for that is a hard tie away at Dover from the Ryman Premier League in the next round.
Croydon Athletic were among the goals in a 5-0 thumping of Combined Counties side Farnham Town.
Dulwich Hamlet let in an early goal against Southern League Western Side Burnham, but battled through 2-1.
