Crystal Palace's administrators are again expected to extend the deadline for people to bid for the club after a lack of firm interest.

The P&A Partnership had already moved the deadline back by two weeks to 5pm this afternoon after the original February 26 deadline passed without any money being put on the table.

Today's deadline has now also gone with no one coming forward with a firm offer, leaving joint administrator Brendan Guilfoyle with no option but to add another fortnight to the club's waiting time.

Although plenty of parties have expressed an interest in buying the club, no one is understood to have come forward with the £10m Guilfoyle is willing to accept.

They now have until March 26 although it is thought bidders will wait until the end of the season to see if Palace escape relegation to League One before putting their money on the table.
