Radio DJ Neil Fox teed off a campaign against testicular cancer at a golf centre in New Malden on Thursday, September 9.
He visited World of Golf to take the first swing at special numbered golf balls as he attempted to hit a designated target.
The Magic FM DJ said: “I love golf and I think it’s a brilliant idea to encourage players to have fun on the driving range while raising money to fight testicular cancer.”
A spokesman for the club said he was “quite the little golfer” and one of the pros at the site seemed impressed.
The One Ball or Two campaign invited golfers to buy one pink ball for £1 or two pink balls for £2, with all proceeds goIng to Cancer Research UK.
There is £200 on offer for players who score a hole in one World of Golf will reward players scoring a hole in one with £200.
