The ACM Gospel Choir, who were semi-finalists in the BBC’s 2008 show Last Choir Standing, will be performing in Claygate next month to help raise money for a local charity.
The event at the Holy Trinity Church in Church Road is in aid of Music in Hospitals, a Walton-based charity which aims to improve the quality of life for ill and disabled adults and children through the therapeutic benefits of live music.
The concert will also feature jazz singers Krysia Mansfield, violinist Orpheus Papafillipou and a-cappella singing group the Treblemakers - all artists who regularly perform for Music in Hospitals at places such as the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher and the Walton Community Hospital.
For more information about the concert or to buy tickets, which cost £15, call 01932 260810 or visit music-in-hospitals.org.uk
