Choirs from six Wandsworth schools are to perform on the South Bank as part of the Mayor’s Thames Festival tomorrow.
They will join more than 600 pupils from eight London boroughs to create a mass choir by the side of the Thames.
Wandsworth’s choirs come from Albemarle, Sacred Heart, Fircroft, St. Mary’s, Chesterton and Holy Ghost schools.
The event is organised by Sing Up, a national singing programme which aims to encourage singing in primary schools.
Pupils have been working on the project in workshops and training sessions since April.
