A music festival rocked the town centre during the weekend with bands and other attractions.

The South Central Music Festival drew thousands of residents to Sutton High Street, who enjoyed the food stalls and a bit of music in the sun.

The three days of live bands, solo performers and DJs, organised by Sutton Council, featured new and up-and-coming bands, playing in pubs, clubs and squares around the town centre.

Rhythms varied from rock, pop and jazz to urban beats and flamenco.

The High Street also hosted a French market, while a speciality beer garden was set up in Millennium Square.
