Sustainable living project BedZED, in Hackbridge, will be open to the public during the Open House London weekend.
The event is taking place on September 19 and 20.
Some 700 buildings of all shapes and sizes will open their doors to Londoners completely for free.
This year, Open House London is looking at innovation in green design by showcasing new and renovated eco buildings.
Nearly half of the UK’s energy consumption comes from the ways in which our buildings are lit, heated and used.
Creating sustainable design solutions are among the most urgent issues for architects and designers.
BedZed, a Sutton Council and BioRegional initiative, is the UK’s largest carbon-neutral eco-community.
