Surrey's Wimbledon hopefuls have been given tough, yet winnable, ties after the draw for the First Round was made this morning.

New Malden's Mel South, currently ranked 130 in the world, will face France's Mathilde Johansson, world number 87.

Josh Goodall, who turns out for Sutton in club tennis, has come up against Michael Llodra, currently ranked 144.

But Laura Robson, who enters the main draw a year after winning the junior competition, will have her work cut out after being drawn to play world number 33 Daniela Hantuchova.

All eyes will also obviously be on Andy Murray and he has been drawn to face American Robert Kendrick.

In doubles action, South and Jocelyn Rae will face Alona and Kateryna Bondarenko, Robson and Georgie Stoop meet fellow Brits Jade Curtis and Anna Smith, Ross Hutchins and Stephen Huss have drawn Prakash Armitraj and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Surrey's Chris Eaton and Alexander Slabinsky tackle Marcel Granollers and Santiago Ventura.
