Weed removers are asking residents to report areas that need treatment.
Elmbridge Council carries out its weed control on streets and pavements two or three times a year.
The council uses an environmentally friendly treatment on the weeds that takes about two weeks to be effective. Once the weeds are dead, they are removed by the council’s street cleaning provider Veolia Environmental Services.
