Concerns are growing for a woman who walked out of a Tooting hospital last week.

The 39-year-old, who gave her name as Elizabeth Davis, was last seen at 8pm at St George’s Hospital on Thursday, February 26 with a cut to her left hand.

While she was being treated for her injury staff became concerned for her mental wellbeing but she left before she could be assessed.

The woman told staff she lived in Ruislip Road, Tooting, but checks revealed no one of that name is known to live there.

Police are now appealing for information to trace her.

She is described as white, approximately 5ft 5in, of medium build with dark brown shoulder length hair. She was wearing a dark jacket and carrying a pink rucksack. Her left hand was also bandaged.

Anyone with information should call Wandsworth Police Missing Persons on 020 8247 8703.
