A man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Kevin Tripp who was killed in a Colliers Wood supermarket earlier this year.
Tony Virasami, of Sedgehill Road, Lewisham, made his plea at the Old Bailey this morning.
His partner, Antoinette Richardson, also appeared in court, appealing for the manslaughter charges against her to be dropped.
However the judge turned down her appeal and she will now face a manslaughter trial in February next year.
Mr Tripp, 57, was assaulted in the Sainsbury's store on June 10.
The father-of-one, an ME sufferer from Colliers Wood, sustained a a head injury and was taken by ambulance to hospital where he died the next day.
Virasami is expected to be sentenced in December.
