Summer 2024 may be one of the best summers yet, especially one tailored to the liking of sporting fans. Here are some of the main events that you should surely not miss out on this summer!

 

1) London- Champions League and FA cup finals 

For those of you which are Londoners and more importantly football fans, these are once in a lifetime opportunities to watch the world's greatest game on display at home. On the 25th of May at Wembley Stadium, Manchester City face Manchester United to grasp the prestigious English FA cup trophy. What can be better than one of the most jaw-dropping rivalries, the Manchester Derby, in a final close to home? Surely nothing beats that. 

Now, for more worldwide yet even English football fans, the final for one of the most honoured and illustrious trophy in football history will be taking place at Wembley Stadium, on the 1st of June ( teams yet to be decided), the Champions League final. This event is one of the most or if not the most followed and popular sporting event around the globe with billions tuning in to watch. This must be the first thing on booked on your calendar for the summer.

2) Monaco Grand Prix 

On the 26th of May, the breath-taking Grand Prix is brought to you in one of the most luxurious countries in the world, Monaco. The Grand Prix of Monaco is THE mythical race, the hardest of the Formula 1 World Championship, one of the greatest and most challenging racing events on the sports calendar. It is the most prestigious motor race of the world, under exceptional conditions. 

Monaco is also one of the best summer tourist locations around the world. One can witness supercars of the many wealthy millionaires present in the tax-free country. The Monte-Carlo casino is another one of the popular attractions available, and you can always click a picture with the supercars posed up in front of the casino.

3) The EURO in Germany

This summer, Germany offers itself to host another celebrated football event in Europe, where European national teams with star-studded line-ups compete for the Euro trophy. Stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and many more will be present, competing to bring home European Glory. The Euros begin on the 14th of June and finish on the 14th of July, so don't miss out your chance on visiting famous German stadiums such as the Allianz Arena and Signal Iduna Park.
