A man has been stabbed and another has suffered a head injury after an incident in Croydon.
Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in London Road just before 5.10pm yesterday (March 18).
A 21-year-old man was found with a knife injury and a 29-year-old man with a head injury.
They were both taken to a south London hospital where their conditions were not life-threatening.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray following the incident.
Police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 5.08pm on Monday, March 18 to reports of a stabbing at London Road, Croydon. Officers and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended.
"At the scene a 21-year-old man was found with knife injuries. A second man, aged 29, was found with a head injury.
"Both were taken to south London hospitals where their conditions were not life threatening.
“A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray.
"Enquiries continue. Anyone who witnessed this incident or has footage should call police on 101 or post on X @MetCC quoting 5361/18MAR.
