Police have launched a manhunt after a victim was seriously assaulted during the early hours in an Epsom alleyway.

A man in his 20s was attacked in an alleyway between the Exquisique Nail Salon and Black Burger on February 4 between 3am and 4am.

The alleyway runs alongside the NPC car park in Epsom Town Centre.

He left with serious injuries to his head and face.

Officers are now asking anyone who may have been near the entry or exit to the alleyway near Station Approach at around 3/4am on February 4 to contact police with any further information.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “A man in his 20s was seriously assaulted in Epsom in the early hours of Sunday 4 February in an alleyway between the Exquisique Nail Salon and Black Burgers, which runs alongside the NPC car park in Epsom Town Centre.

“He sustained serious injuries to his head and face.

“We are looking for information regarding any individuals who may have been seen to either enter or exit the alleyway near Station Approach, Epsom between 3 and 4am on Sunday 4 February.
