A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Wandsworth.

Officers were called to St Johns Hill at the junction of Falcon Road at around 1pm yesterday (February 24) after reports of a stabbing.

A man in his 40s was found with injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains.

His condition has been confirmed as not life-threatening or changing.

Police arrested one person at the scene and no further suspects are being sought.

A spokesperson for Metropoliton Police said: “Police were called at 13:08hrs on Saturday, 24 February, to reports of a stabbing at St Johns Hill junction with Falcon Road, SW11

“Officers attended. The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to a south London hospital where his conditional is not life threatening or life changing.

“Police attending made an arrest. No further suspects are currently being sought.
