A major road has been cordoned off by police after an incident in Sutton.
Officers are currently attempting to engage with a man inside an address in Throwley Way who threatened to self-harm.
Police cordons are currently in place as the incident is being dealt with.
A spokesperson for Sutton MPS (@MPSSutton) said on X (formally known as Twitter) it advises people to avoid the area.

Cordons remain in place while the situation is ongoing.
