Pictures from the road where a pedestrian and bus were involved in a crash show a number of police and fire engines at the scene.

Police were called to a crash involving a route 131 bus and a pedestrian on Tooting High Street at 12.15pm today (November 3).

London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance also attended the scene.

The A24 Tooting High Street has been closed in both directions whilst Garratt Lane is reduced to one lane westbound.

Police say the impact to traffic is "serious" with congestion on all approaches.

Footpaths are also closed at scene with pedestrians and cyclists having to use other routes.
