A 25-year-old man has been left in a life-threatening condition after being involved in a crash with a bus in Clapham.

Yesterday (October 6) police were called to St John’s Hill in Clapham where a bus had crashed with a pedestrian.

The bus driver stopped at the scene.

The pedestrian, a 25-year-old man, was taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as life-threatening.

No arrests have been made and police are appealing for information.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting the reference 8200/06OCT23.

In a social media post on X, Wandsworth Police wrote: “#APPEAL We were called at 21:40 on Fri 6 Oct, to a collision between a bus and a pedestrian on St John’s Hill near to Clapham Junction, SW11.

“The bus driver stopped at the scene.

“Officers attended and the pedestrian, a 25yr old man, was taken to hospital.

“His condition has been assessed as life-threatening.

“There has been no arrests.

“Any witnesses yet to speak with police are asked to call 101, quoting ref 8200/06OCT23 “Our thanks are as always in advance.”
