A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Croydon.

The incident happened in Barclay Road at around 2.25pm today (September 25).

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

He was taken hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening. 

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 2.25pm on Monday, 25 September to reports of a stabbing in Barclay Road, Croydon.

"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 20s, suffering stab injuries.

"He has been taken to hospital for treatment – condition assessed as not life-threatening. 

"A crime scene remains in place.

"No arrests; enquiries continue.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD4044/25Sep.
