A sex offender has been jailed for 18 weeks after he exposed his genitals in public.
In Worcester Park on February 27, Mark Stephen Berry exposed his genitals to a person intending that they would be alarmed or distressed.
Two days before that offence, on February 25, the 65-year-old had harassed a woman in Sutton.
Berry, of Lynwood Drive in Worcester Park, initially pleaded not guilty to both offences but on August 18 he changed his pleas to guilty.
He also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court.
He was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison and was ordered to pay a £154 surcharge.
Berry will be required to sign the sex offenders register for seven years.
