Four men appeared in court today charged with the murder of Carshalton man Mick McGrath.
Chou Wei Leong, 21, Yuxiang Lui, 25, Ryan Parker-Saunders, 23, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared charged with the murder of 57-year-old Mr McGrath who was found dead in his home in Shaftesbury Avenue on November 29 last year.
A post mortem examination gave the cause of death as blunt trauma to the head.
The four defendants did not enter pleas to the charge and are due to appear again on June 6.
A four-week trial has been set down to begin on October 6.
Lui, of Holloway Road, Leong, of Acacia Road, both Haringey, Parker-Saunders, of Thurlby Road, West Norwood, and the 17-year-old were all remanded in custody.
