A "loving" great-grandad has been named as the man found dead in the River Wandle earlier this month.
The body of Nicholas Donald Tredwen, known also as 'Nicky' was found in the Colliers Wood river on August 5, the day after he passed away.
Born on April 16, 1960, his family now wish to celebrate the life of the "loving son, brother, dad, grandad and great-grandad."
A service will be held for Nicky on Wednesday, August 29 at 10am in St John Fisher Catholic Church, 207 Cannon Hill Lane.
Then at 11am people will move to the Sutton Joint Cemetery, Garth Road, Morden before finally making their way to the Morden Brook Pub.
