A little boy is fighting for his life after he and his mother were stabbed in Hanworth.
Police were called to Swinfield Close, near Hanworth Park, just before 7.15pm on Monday, June 4.
They found a woman aged in her thirties and a little boy with stab injuries.
Both were taken to a west London hospital, where the boy remains in critical condition.
The mother's injuries are not life-threatening.
A man known to live where the pair were found is being traced by police, who believe he and the victims knew each other.
There have been no arrests, and anyone with information is asked to call Hounslow Police on 101, quoting CAD 6981/4June, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
