A window at a Worcester Park church has been damaged after it had a hole smashed in it by a ‘pellet’.
Police were called to reports of criminal damage at Christ Church with St Philip, in Ruskin Drive, on April 16.
A Met Police spokesman said a 'small metal object' was found nearby, however, due to the shape of it this not believe to have been fired from a piece of equipment or apparatus.
Three other properties have reportedly suffered similar damage, including a home in Grandison Drive, but these are unconfirmed currently by police.
Christ Church with St Philip centre manager David Pickett said: “I’ve reported them to the community police officers.
“I know they’ve been down over the last week or so, the one here was done some time between Friday and Sunday just gone [April 14 to 16].
“The one here was when we actually found the pellet and the broken glass on Sunday morning.”
