A man has died after he was hit by a train on the Dartford to London line at Charlton.
British Transport Police were called to the scene shortly before 10am this morning (March 12).
The 55-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and officers are working to identify the victim and inform the next of kin.
Police said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Services from Dartford via Woolwich Arsenal to and from London are being delayed or diverted via other routes.

TfL reported buses are being diverted on Charlton Church Lane where Charlton station is.
Routes 380 and 486 towards Lewisham and North Greenwich are diverted due to northbound closure of Charlton Church Lane whilst emergency services are responding to an incident

The line reopened around 11.30am today but disruption is expected to continue until 1pm.
