Here are your photos of the unusual double lunar event we’ve seen this week.
On Wednesday night there was a blue moon, or the second full moon in a calendar month, for the first time since July 2015.
It coincided with a supermoon, meaning the Earth's natural satellite appeared about 14 per cent bigger and 30 per cent brighter in the sky as it reached its closest point to Earth.
We missed on the lunar eclipse seen in others parts of the world, but the spectacle we got here still produced some impressive photos.
