Men armed with what looked like a handgun have robbed a Dartford supermarket.
The robbery took place at the Co-Op in Chastilian Road at 7.40pm.
Nobody was physically injured, but police said the pair scarpered with sums of cash after threatening a worker.
A Kent Police spokeswoman said: “Kent Police is investigating a robbery at the Co-Op shop in Chastilian Road, Dartford, that took place at 7.40pm on Saturday 6 January 2018.
“It was reported that two men entered the shop and demanded money from a cashier. One of the men was carrying what looked like a hand gun.
“The men fled with a quantity of cash, no one was hurt.
“Officers are currently carrying out enquiries and are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.”
