'Filam India' is coming to the David Lean Cinema
A celebration of Indian films is coming to Croydon in October and November
Apsara Arts will be programming eight Indian films at the David Lean cinema to mark the 70th anniversary of Indian independence.
Films range from the romantic (Pyaasa) to parable of tradition and modernity (Jalsaghar - The Music Room).
The launch event is taking place at 6pm on October 11.
Tickets for the films are &3 (£6 concessions).
