A spokesperson for Thames Water said: “We’ve had a team of engineers on site since the early hours repairing an 8in burst water main on Falcon Road, Wandsworth.
“We’ve repaired the pipe and will now reinstate the road. We’ve had to close one lane of the road to allow us to repair the pipe, but we’ll reopen it once the road has been reinstated.
“We’re sorry to anyone who has been affected by this.”
Victim Support South London in Falcon Road has closed for the day because of the burst main and flooding.
