The victim of a fatal stabbing in Kingston has been named by police as two people have been charged with murder.

Derick Mulondo, 38, died on Tuesday, June 6.

A post-mortem examination at Uxbridge Mortuary gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the left lung

Police were called to a disturbance in the Cambridge Estate at about 6pm on Tuesday where officers found the Kingston man suffering from stab wounds.

Paramedics and a team from London Air Ambulance delivered emergency first aid, but he died at the scene.

Shauna Doyle, 23, from Burritt Road in Kingston, and Eric Wertz, 45, from Comber Road in New Malden, were charged with his murder.

They appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today, June 9, and were remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on June 13.

Both suspects are also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

A 51-year-old man has been released under investigation.
